Lillian Lockette, Guardian Ad Litem
Guardian ad Litem represents abused, abandoned, and neglected children in court and our community. Through the collaboration of a multi-disciplinary team, Guardian Ad Litem provides quality, independent legal representation for abused, neglected, and abandoned children while assisting the child in expressing their needs and wishes. This unique approach allows the team to provide support by addressing each child’s physical, educational, mental, emotional, social, and legal needs. Lillian, a volunteer for Guardian Ad Litem, will provide us with information on her role and the role of this group in serving the children of our community.

We are in need of suggestions for future topics and speakers. We are also looking for activity and fundraising ideas.

EASTER BOXES WANTED
With Easter just around the corner, we're reaching out to our members to help us spread joy and cheer to those under the watchful eyes of the Children’s Advocacy Center. We are collecting pre-made Easter baskets to provide to the Center who in turn will distribute them.
Our goal is to collect 20-30 baskets. We need your help to reach this target. Your contribution can make a big difference to the lives of children who might not otherwise get an Easter basket.
Please bring your pre-made, completed Easter basket to the March meeting.
Baskets may also be dropped off at Lu Giordano’s (5432 Butterfly Court – Legacy). Your kindness and generosity will help us bring smiles and joy to many children’s faces this Easter season.
