Christmas in July is Quickly Approaching
We are already planning for this much
anticipated event scheduled for July 24th!
We are asking for donations for the basket raffle and other activities. We will need the baskets by June 27.
If you do plan to provide a basket, please contact Lu Giordano (352-728-1277)
If you would like to donate new or gently used items, bring them to the June meetings. Christmas in July is an open meeting and everyone is invited. Tell your friends and family!
The following are ideas for items you might
consider donating or putting in a basket:
Holiday-themed decorations
Gift Baskets filled with treats or small gifts
Toys and games
Books and puzzles
Kitchenware and home decor
Scarves and other accessories
We also need new or gently used items for our prize tables.

Margie-Ann contacted LaMar Advertising and was shocked when they said that they would donate this to LCWA. It is a $4,600 donation. Thank you to our wonderful Community Liaison/Fundraising Chairperson!

The Belk Fundraiser
Our very own Margie-Ann is a celebrity!!!!
On November 30, 2023 Margie-Ann was a guest on radio
station WQBQ. She spoke about LCWA, our mission
and most important our upcoming fundraiser. She
informed the listeners of LCWA's e-mail address,
post office address and website. Her intent was to
get out as much information as she could about our wonderful organization that does so much good for
abused children. She invited the listeners to the Holiday Extravaganzaluncheon/fundraiser. WQBQ is the voice of
Lake County. Listen to her below!!!
